Greg Stump is one of the most provocative, influential and compelling ski filmmakers of all time. His 1988 film, "Blizzard of Aahhhs", launched the careers of Glen Plake and Scot Schmidt and set a new precident in ski films by telling a story behind it's characters. Greg's movies also demonstrated a mastery for editing skiing to music like nothing we had seen before. In the mid 90's, fear that progression in skiing would ultimately lead him to film someone getting seriously injured or killed, Greg stopped making ski films. After a stint in Hollywood producing everything from commercials to music videos, Greg returned to the ski world to create his swan song, "The Legend of Aahhhs". Legend tells the history of ski films and Greg's role in that history. The movie also questions the direction high level sports are taking. Greg's effusive sense of humor will perhaps lead him to make a comedy film sometime down the road.
